Gert Weber

CEO / Chief Executive Officer

Gert Weber is Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Haselmeier Group since July 2015 and is responsible for the global IT and process management. He brings more than 20 years of experience out of the Manufacturing and Information Technology (IT) industries and has filled various management positions in international companies. Gert Weber joined Haselmeier as Chief Information Officer (CIO) in May 2015 as a member of the executive board. He holds a graduate in mechanical engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Konstanz.

Siegfried Eichinger

CFO / Chief Financial Officer

Siegfried Eichinger has many years of business management experience in the medical industry. As a member of the executive board since October 2014, he will lead Haselmeier’s global finance and controlling and will be responsible for the Group’s Human Resources Management. He gained considerable management experience within the Carl Zeiss Group, i.e., he headed Controlling Affiliated Companies there for several years. Further posts include CFO and CEO positions with the Armstrong Group and Schwarzer GmbH. Siegfried Eichinger holds an university degree in business administration from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich.

Frédéric Gabriel

CSO / Chief Strategy Officer

Frédéric Gabriel is General Manager of Haselmeier Switzerland and responsible for Haselmeier’s strategic and business planning. He oversees strategic innovation activities and product management. Frédéric Gabriel joined Haselmeier in 2008 and was responsible for the Project Business. Prior to Haselmeier, Frédéric Gabriel worked as Business Analyst at Capgemini in the European Biotech Group in Stuttgart before joining Genzyme in 2005. At Genzyme, he worked as Business Analyst and later as Program Manager for the European Cardiovascular Business Unit, responsible for the European launch of Genzyme’s first cardiovascular product. He holds a MSc in Biology from the École Normale Supérieure in Paris and a M.B.A. from the European School of Business, ESCP-EAP.

Matthias Meissner

COO / Chief Operations Officer

Matthias Meissner joined the company in 2002 and is now as Managing Director responsible for Haselmeier in Germany. He is responsible for the operational division in production and logistics. He started his professional career as a planning engineer for organisation and investment projects at Flender, subsequently managing production logistics for worldwide supply of assembly centres. He later worked as plant manager at Pfleiderer. Matthias Meissner is a mechanical engineer specialising in production technology and business administration.

Konrad Betzler

CQO / Chief Quality Officer

CPO / Chief Pharma Officer

Konrad Betzler was nominated in October 2017 as Chief Quality Officer and is in this role responsible for quality management, quality assurance and regulatory affairs activities of the Haselmeier Group. In parallel he continues to lead the pharmaceutical manufacturing business unit. Before joining Haselmeier in April 2016 he was involved in the development, manufacturing, quality control and distribution of pharmaceuticals and medical devices for more than 20 years, including 15 years with Catalent, the world’s largest pharmaceutical contract manufacturer, and then as head of Quality Governance at Celesio AG, a leading global retail and wholesale company in the pharmaceutical sector. Konrad Betzler is a licensed pharmacist and has the qualification as a Qualified Person according to Art. 49 of the Directive 2001/83 / EC.

Thomas Dürkop

CTO / Chief Technology Officer

Thomas Dürkop joined the Management Board of Haselmeier Group as Chief Technology Officer in June 2016. He is responsible for the technical division. He holds a graduate in mechanical engineering at the RWTH in Aachen and reverts on 20 years experiences in automotive and medical engineering. Thomas Dürkop worked as Business Development Manager and Engineering Solution Manager in the business areas of Medical Devices, Drug Delivery Devices and Pharmaceutical Packaging during the last 8 years.

Dr. Fred Metzmann

CBO / Chief Business Officer

Since August 2016 Dr. Fred Metzmann is responsible for the global Business Development and Key Account Management of the Haselmeier Group. In his function as CBO he manages the extension of existing customer relations as well as the strategic development of new international business areas. With over 20 years of experience within the market segments medical technology, medical dosing systems and pharmaceutical packaging combined with his expertise for sales processes he is responsible for the definition and implementation of the sales and marketing strategy. Before his start at Haselmeier he held several executive positions within the marketing and sales areas of leading companies in the plastics-processing industry.

Dr. Fred Metzmann holds a diploma in chemistry of the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz and a degree of doctor from the Max Planck Institute of polymer research in Mainz.
